AMERICAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

sebelum nak bagi resepi ni. nak share lah sikit pasal pencipta resepi ini. namanya Amy Heng. waktu giler nak buat kek dulu. aku ni pergilah ke popular. itu pun tersinggah kerana baru beli oven.hehehe,..jalan punya jalan punya jalan...cari punya cari. mana pulak pergi buku-buku resepi chef melayu ni. adush..gelisah jap. kebanyakannya buku resepi bahasa cina dan inggeris dan chef-chef antarabangsa dan chinesse.so, pasal nak juga buat. aku beli lah buku amy heng ni. psl dalamnya ada detail gambar cara membuat dan juga bahan-bahannya. so kalau nak pergi beli kat kedai tu, tahulah nak cari brand apa yerr..mudah bukan.



hari raya adiladha. nak jadi cerita teringin pulak nak buat resepi ni. macam best. bila dah buat memang best. cuma tidaklah secantik amy heng punya decoration. ha...yang tu aku tak pas. nak buat mcm mana bukan background chef. heheheh.



so inilah resepinya. kalau rasa nak try resepi lain atau nak tengok gambar-gambar hasil keknya yang cantik pergilah cari bukunya ya.harga bukunya rm 20.00 dekat popular. so selamat mencuba resepi ni yar. saya tak attach gambar, kerana rupa kek saya huduh sikit. hahahhahaa


resepi :


250gm butter
370gm soft brown sugar1tsp vanilla essence
4 eggs gred A
320gm plain flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
100gm cocoa powder (dissolve in 280ml hot water)




chocolate filling
300ml UHT whipping cream
600gm cooking chocolate(chopped)
(heat cream in a double boiler until hot. add in chocolate and stir until smooth.cool until chocolate has thickened before usage)


topping
50gm white chocolate melted , add in 1 tsp shortening.


method:
1.beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.gradually add in eggs until well mixed.
2. add in sieved ingredients alternate cocoa mixture on low speed.
3. pour into prepared tin and bake for 1 hour.after cool slice cake into 3 layer horizontally.
4.spread one layer with half of chocolate filing and top with another layer.pour warm chocolate topping and tilt cake round to coat and let the excess flow down the sides.
5. place melted white chocolate in a piping bag and pipe a few circles on surface of cake.use a skewer to create feathery effects.
